Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Treeschool collects, why we use it, and the choices available to parents.
Effective July 12, 2026
Information we collect
We collect parent account details such as email address, student details supplied by the parent, curriculum files, planning instructions, generated plans, and service activity needed to operate Treeschool. Stripe processes payment details; Treeschool does not store complete card numbers.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate parents, process purchases, analyze parent-provided curriculum, generate requested printable plans, provide support, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use student curriculum data for advertising.
AI processing
Files and planning instructions may be sent to contracted AI infrastructure solely to provide the requested analysis and planning features. Parents should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information.
Children’s information
Treeschool is purchased and controlled by a parent or guardian. Parents decide what student information to provide and are responsible for having authority to provide it. Students should not create their own parent accounts.
Storage and retention
Curriculum source files, generated plans, and account records are retained while needed to provide the service and support the purchase. A parent may request deletion. We may retain limited transaction, security, and compliance records where required.
Service providers and transfers
We use service providers including Vercel, Google Cloud, Supabase, Stripe, and email providers. They process information under their own contractual and security obligations, and processing may occur in countries outside the parent’s country.
Your choices
Parents may request access, correction, export, or deletion of their information by contacting support. We will verify the request before acting. Authentication and transaction emails are necessary service communications.
Security and changes
We use access controls, private file storage, encrypted transport, and limited service credentials. No service can promise absolute security. We may update this policy and will publish the effective date of material changes.
